Ensemble Sarath's band, Sathsara Ensemble is based in Mississauga, Ontario and caters primarily to the needs of music lovers in the Greater Toronto area. Birthdays, family re-unions, weddings, anniversaries and other related functions are catered to. The band has also played at venues in Ontario province in concerts. Invitations from other provinces in Canada and venues in North America are accepted, depending on the availability of the team and costs. The band usually plays as a quintet, that includes Tabla & Percussion, a Flute /Saxaphone a Sitar and a Piano/Keyboard in addition to the Esraj. Depending on the significance of the occasion and the cost preferences, Sathsara also plays as a quartet or a trio.
